GSMArena have managed to get hold of some more pictures of the yet to be announced handset codenamed ‘Nozomi’ which is expected to be launched as the Arc HD either at CES or Mobile World Congress in 2012. We have already seen some images but never as many as have now leaked out and it must be said this is one of the best looking Android phones…. EVER!.
Whilst no specifications are confirmed yet we are lead to believe that it will feature the following:
- 2.3.5 Gingerbread (then upgraded to 4.0)
- 4.3 inch Screen
- 1028×720 pixel resolution
- 12 megapixel camera
- 1080p video recording
- 1GB RAM
- 16/32GB Storage
- MicroSIM
Expect to hear about the announcement at either CES or MWC in early 2012

Guys doesn’t that look a bit 4.0ish to you rather than 2.3.x? Cos there’s the white dots for the touch buttons so they’re not taking up the screen real estate….. either way it looks like a beautiful phone and it looks like it built well which is pleasant.
ICS has the control button as part of a bar at the bottom of the screen, they’re not physical hardware buttons, they’re pixels that have been given button functions and they rotate and change according to what screen you’re on and if you’re in portrait or landscape, etc
in that Sony handset, you can clearly see that the screen ends, and then you have the buttons marked by those dots. those dots are not on the screen, they are hardware buttons, so they won’t be able to change their icons or rotate, etc.
have a look at the videos on youtube of honeycomb and ICS to see that there are no hardware buttons, and that the control buttons are “software” buttons made of screen pixels and screen estate.
