I have no reason to, but for some reason I suddenly want one of these. Put simply it’s a helicopter that you control .. with your phone. The Parrot AR Drone is quite expensive (£259.99) but, when combined with the iPhone or Android app you get to use the on board camera to fly around your neighbourhood.
Plus, if you have a friend with one, you can have augmented reality video gaming. There’s a front camera, vertical camera and an altimeter built-in for realistic dog-fights.
