Desire owners on Virgin Media get updated

Virgin Media customers can now enjoy FroYo on their HTC Desire handsets thanks to an update announced yesterday. The new software includes..


– Ability to save applications to the SD card

– Facebook updates and birthday reminders on the call screen

– Option to secure phone with PIN or password (as well as pattern)

– Use the device as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot

– LED light now available in camcorder mode

– HD video record



The update will roll out automatically but you can try and jump the gun by clicking into Settings -> About Phone -> System Software Updates.
