Once again xda developers have cracked it. This afternoon user “thatruth132” posted that permanent root had been achieved. They have been testing various exploits for days now. The files are available on xda to push across to your device. It’s still quite risky though.
Paul O Brien from modaco has tweeted that he will update his VISIONary app tomorrow, for the T-Mobile G2/Desire Z and Desire HD. This app will be a much easier way of achieving permanent root on your device. Head over to the thread on Xda below, follow Paul on twitter or install the app from the market.
This will open the floodgates for all of the rom developers out there to work there magic. Cyanogenmod, Villainrom & Modaco will all no doubt create roms very soon.
