The last time we saw an update for the Sony Ericsson X10 it was July and we were all sunning ourselves. Now, with the autumnal winds blowing, there’s another update – but it’s not the sort owners are waiting for. The update on the update states that the Android 2.1 (yes, 2.1, not 2.2) software will be delayed until the end of October.
Sony Ericsson plan to implement HD video recording and a new backup and restore feature as part of their 2.1 upgrade, but it’s now set to arrive more than a month after other handsets received their Android 2.2 upgrades.
Looking at the emails we’ve received and the responses on their blog it seems that people aren’t at all happy.
