Some of you may have heard about Fancy Widget. It’s basically an exact clone of the HTC Clock and Weather widget and has been available on the Android Market for some time. Yesterday however they announced that the widget will soon be stopped and removed from the market. This comes after a HTC complaint against the coder. Many users of non-HTC Android phones were using this widget to get the “HTC feel” and obviously HTC didn’t want that.
The Fancy Widget will come back, albeit in a “non HTC-esque” design.
