A HTC Hero OTA (Over The Air) update has just appeared on the HTC support site. According to the details this is a..
“Firmware over-the-air (FOTA) client update & YouTube player Update.”
Is it the Android 2.1 update ? Well, it certainly doesn’t look that way. It’ll update your device to “2.73.405” and is available by going into the “Updates” section on your phone. Let us know what other improvements you see after the update!
Update – Since writing this it appears that other news sites are calling this the 2.1 update. From what we can see it isn’t, and some of you are having issues getting it through Settings > Security > Firmware Download, but do let us know how you’re getting on with this.
