The HTC Desire is now available to buy on Orange. We’re not seeing it on the Orange site right now, but Matt Gough has emailed in to say..
“Just got off the phone to Orange (from calling 150) and the HTC Desire has been launched as of 9AM. They have stock for new customers and you should be able to get one. I’m an existing customer and it’s not made it into their retentions team just yet, but should be later this afternoon.”
Matt is going to keep us posted on this one, but do let us know if you’ve managed to get one ordered on Orange.
Update – Steve Taylor has just emailed in “The desire is now on orange 150 for upgrades and new Just got my upgrade!! Whoop Whoop!” 🙂

Matt has now updated us on his hunt for the Desire through Orange upgrades. He says..
“Now I’ve got 500mins, unlim texts, 500Mb data, 100MMS for
£22.50/month on a 24 month contract and £0 for the handset. Safe to
say that I’m really pleased with that result!
It apparently comes with a 4Gb MicroSD card and it should be
delivered tomorrow.
This is the brown version and there’s no update on the black one as
of yet.”
