HTC Legend – The official stats

HTC Legend The official stats This is the HTC Legend. It’s the Android-powered device we spotted yesterday on the Vodafone stand so it’s pretty safe to say that Vodafone will be picking this up. Many are already calling it the “Hero 2” due to the “chin” and we can plainly see Android 2.1 on this shot. It’s kept the same “Legend” name from the earlier leaks and there’s the always-lovely HTC Sense interface on top.

The Legend has a 3.2″ AMOLED screen running at 320×480 HVGA with a 600Mhz CPU running the show. It has a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with flash and geotagging, plus there’s WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, internet tethering through the USB port and a 3.5mm audio port. Every other spec you can care to mention is also here – a G-sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, FM radio, GPS and more.

There’s also some special tricks – the phone will lower the ringer volume as soon as you pick it up, it’ll mute the ringer when the phone is flipped face down and it’ll backup certain data and settings to the microSD card automatically (SMS/MMS, bookmarks, WiFi passwords and more) so you don’t lose stuff ! Brilliant!
