The HTC HD mini was announced today. Powered by Windows Mobile 6.5 and the HTC Sense it’s got a capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch capabilities and will arrive in Europe and Asia in April. Inside is a 600Mhz CPU with a 3.2″ 320×480 HVGA screen, 512MB ROM and 384MB RAM. It’s a quad-band GSM, dual-band HSPA / WCDMA device with a high-capacity 1200 mAh battery, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and 3.5mm audio jack.
Other specs include a G-sensor, proximity sensor, GPS, ambient light sensor, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and internet tethering capabilities. You’ll also get your social life connected up with Facebook, Twitter (via Peep), video and photo sharing and much more.
This is the “Photon” we saw earlier in the year. We’ll be taking a closer look at the device itself later on this afternoon, so stay tuned for updates.
