HTC Hero owners have been waiting for the new Android 2.1 update for some time now. The word “soon” has been used quite a bit now but it looks like the Eclair update will be popping up mid-March, at least according to Whiz PR.
Regional HTC Director Mark Moons, is quoted as saying..
“This Android 2.1 update for our Hero sets again we prove our leadership and dedication to the Android platform. The HTC Hero recent period has proven to be best selling Android device. The first Android 2.1 update available for this unit, we reward users with innovative functionality that helps them do more with their Android device can achieve.”
So, not too long to wait..
