We’re not being too unkind when we say that Motorola were in a pretty bad way before they launched their new Android phones. The Dext / Cliq was a good start and the Droid / Milestone is already proving to be a very popular handset in the USA. More are to come (like the Backflip) and, while we still cling on to our old MPx200 Motorola are planning to introduce “up to 30 Android handsets” this year.
That’s a lot sure, but they won’t be available everywhere all at the same time y’know. Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha isn’t looking at market share at present but it sounds like he’s pretty committed to making Motorola a global force in the mobile world once again.
