A Tweet from HTC Russia seems to have confirmed that the HTC HD2 will be getting Windows Mobile 7. The Tweet, which has since been removed, said that only the HD2 will get the upgrade.
There’s also rumours flying around that Windows Mobile 7 will still allow GUI overlays (like HTC Sense) with other rumours stating that it won’t.
Update – It looks like HTC Russia are back-peddling furiously with a Tweet stating, “Unfortunately, the tweet regarding the WM7 upgrade for the HTC HD2 was posted in error and is unconfirmed at this time.”
