Moto Droid makes early web appearance The Motorola Droid. We know so far that it’s a sliding QWERTY with 5 megapixel shooters, Android 2.0 (Eclair) and a capacitive screen. We also know that it’s getting a lot of advertising and rumour has it that Vodafone will be bringing it to the UK.


Verizon, however, have “accidentally” put the whole Droid site online. They’ve since taken it down again, but luckily BGR captured the whole thing before it vanished. The specs on this new Android device are now even more impressive. There’s a dual LED flash on that camera, WiFi 802.11 b/g, aGPS, Stereo Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 3.5mm audio jack and a 1400mAh battery with up to 270 hours stand-by and 385 minutes of “continuous usage” time. The screen is a 3.7″ WVGA running at 480×854 (16:9 widescreen) and Flash 10 will be available next year.
