To mark the launch of Windows Mobile 6.5 a new Windows Phone website is now online. It features the new orange colour scheme, the “Windows Phone” logo and quick links to mobiles, updates and apps.
Today though there’s growing rumours on the web about the new Windows Marketplace. It seems to be quite country-specific, with highly-populated countries like the USA having lots of apps to choose from whilst other countries have less choice. It’s also rumoured that the app submission process actually costs the developer more depending on how many countries you’d like to see your app available in. If true, this would reduce the amount of free apps available and bump up the price of the rest. We’ll keep an eye on this one.
