When we ran a story some months back about Moto leaving Windows Mobile it was rumoured that WinMo would take a back seat in favour of OS’s such as Android. Previously Chief Sanjay Jha had said that it considered Android superior this year and had may return to Microsoft’s platform when WinMo 7 appears.
Although doubt was put on this we’re now seeing evidence (via this CV) that Motorola employee Hand Huang has been working on developing and migrating apps from Windows Mobile 6 to Windows Mobile 7. Now, whilst this doesn’t definitely mean that Motorola are still launching a WinMo 7 phone, it does at least show that they’ve put the time and effort into it with something called “Caesar”.
