There’s still some time to go until the big Samsung Unpacked event but there’s growing rumours on the t’interwebs that the GT-I8000 will be launched as the Samsung Omnia II next Monday. Leaked specs state that this will be another handset with an 8.1 megapixel camera (following the rumoured Sony Ericsson X2) and will be using a custom “Cubic” user interface with Facebook and YouTube easily accessible.
The Samsung website isn’t revealing much just yet, other than keywords such as “speed, design, internet, entertainment” and having a “clear, big display”. Inside it’ll be powered by Windows Mobile if the rumours are right. But surely, if that was true we’d have been invited.. and we haven’t as yet. 🙂
