Yesterday a new Touch HD update appeared which promises to fix multiple browsing issues and title-bar flicker. It also speeds up GPS lock, updates the “Connnection Setup” database and there’s improved emergency call handling when you’re in Airplane Mode.
This is a generic update, so you’ll only be able to update your handset if you bought it unlocked from the likes of devicewire.com etc. As usual we’d recommend backing up your phone-based data, charging your handset over 50% and drinking at least three cups of coffee before starting.
