Didiom – Mobile entertainment, now refreshed and enhanced

Didiom Mobile entertainment, now refreshed and enhanced In February 2007 we mentioned an exciting new service called “Didiom“. It’s now developed into an all-in-one application which will let you steam music from your PC to your phone wirelessly. It’s free and you can either use your own music collection or choose from the Didiom Marketplace, which has over 1.5 million DRM-free tunes to choose from. The Marketplace will even let you “name-your-own-price” so you can bid on music to get it at the price you want to pay. You can also try before you buy and it’s all really easy.

The whole service and free application is probably best explained with the help of a video, so we’ve included a YouTube movie showing how everything works.

The download page is a little US-centric, although you can ignore the “wireless carrier” selection and just choose your handset from the right-hand side. Interestingly the Xperia X1 and HTC Diamond / Touch Pro is shown on images throughout their site but I was unable to find them under the choice of handsets. Doah!
