On Tuesday I will be bringing you total coverage of a massive announcement by HTC. HTC, as many of you know by now, make the majority of the Windows Mobile phones on sale. Leaks about a possible new handset – the HTC Diamond – have been flying around for the past few days, however newsmobile.it appear to have grabbed the official shots shown on the right here.
One image reveals 4Gb internal storage plus there’s also an orientation sensor, which makes us think that this could be the fabled “iPhone Killer” we’ve been waiting for. Running Windows Mobile 6.1 (Pro) and packed with a Qualcomm MSM7201A CPU running at 528Mhz it’s also got some tasty diamond designs next to the 3.2 auto-focus megapixel camera on the back. Other specs include quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and 3G, HSDPA and HSUPA plus WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and EDR. There’s also a front-facing camera for video calls, microSD slot and, if all that’s not enough for you, then the 640×480 VGA screen and eGPS plus FM radio should definitely have you banging down the door of your local HTC retailer.
Don’t forget to tune in at 11.30 AM on Tuesday for all the latest news, live from the HTC Event in London.
