We’ve mentioned it many times and, thankfully, the phone manufacturers are well aware of it – the standard Windows Mobile homescreen and interface is getting a bit long in the tooth now. Another phone manufacturer – GSmart has now announced “Smart Touch” (hmm..sounds familiar) – a new intuitive, informative and flexible interface for finger navigation.
Available “in April” (we’re guessing that means today then) on GSmart phones, there’s a customisable interface with frequently used apps available as shortcuts and you can change these simply by dragging a new application into place. There’s two different types of clock which are easily changed with a screen wipe. The Smart Touch technology will also be introduced to European market after May.
