Next week marks the start of the Mobile World Congress, but some companies have already started announcing what they’ll.. err.. be announcing … at the event. Opera have announced their new browser – version 9.5 – which will bring desktop-like browsing complete with zoom, scanning and a easy-to-use interface.
The new version has Flash support, a password manager and the ability to use Opera Widgets, which are a bunch of mini applications allowing access to content from the idle screen in just a few clicks. Other features include tabbed browsing, link and image sending via SMS / MMS and the ability to save pages for offline browsing.
Many people are already touting this to be the “ultimate mobile web browser”. We can’t tell for sure because Opera Mobile 9.5 isn’t available for download just yet, however you can judge for yourself thanks to the video below. From what we’ve seen so far, it certainly looks the business.
