Well, just as we expected way back in June, the Palm 500v is now official and yes, it is coming to Vodafone. Palm UK have just put a full page online detailing the specs, which inclide pretty much everything… except.. WiFi (doah). The 500v does, however, have 3G internet access, triband GSM/GPRS, Bluetooth 2.0 plus that QWERTY keyboard up front. You also get a 2 megapixel camera around the back (though there’s no face-pointing cam for video calls), microSD card slot and a 320×240 pixel screen.
Powered by Windows Mobile Standard, making it a real Smartphone, it’ll be available from October 1st and their site has a nice Flash demonstration of its abilities. You can also see how compact it is (either that or this girl has very big hands). 🙂 There should also be a choice of shades – white or black.
