Right, just to bring you up to speed with the story so far, Palm put this site online to promote a new phone arriving here in Europe. Everyone thought it was the Palm Centro (800p), which runs the Palm operating system. However, we crossed everything in the hope that Palm would announce this Windows Mobile version.
Well, listen up, because it sounds like there’s a glimmer of hope from Palm themselves. They’ve confirmed in this official Palm blog post that it’s not the Palm OS version (Centro). They say…
“There’s been a lot of buzz about the new device our friends across the “pond” are planning to announce on September 12th…and it’s not the Palm Centro smartphone!”
