You may remember the TechFaith Wireless handsets we featured back in April. It now appears that TechFaith are tightening their ties with Microsoft by signing an agreement to work closely with sales, marketing and technology. Using the Windows Mobile and Windows Media technologies the agreement covers Smartphone and media handset product development, talent, technology and applications too.
China, where TechFaith Wireless are based, should prove to be incredibly important for both manufacture of handsets and sales. TechFaith are also working with Qualcomm, who are responsible for MediaFLO, so be sure to keep an eye on these guys.
