i600 Goes to Sprint MSMobiles.com are reporting today that the Samsung SPH-i600 is now coming to the US Mobile network Sprint. Until now the only major networks in the US selling Windows Mobile phones were Verizon (Samsung i600) and AT&T Wireless (Motorola MPx200).

Sprint have slightly rebranded the handset as it’s known on Verizon, calling it an SP-i600, or to give it the full Sprint name…

The device will be available at Sprint Stores in early October.

Featuring Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 software for Smartphone, the Sprint PCS Vision Smart Device SP-i600 by Samsung goes above and beyond to accommodate the road-warrior’s robust personal and professional life. Sprint business customers will benefit from the SP-i600’s comfortable, one-handed navigation, built-in speakerphone and advanced voice-recognition software and voice notes. Operating on the enhanced Sprint Nationwide PCS Network, the SP-i600 by Samsung allows mobile professionals to send and receive emails and text messages; browse the Web; and listen to news, music and other audio clips while on the go. This digital, dual-band SP-i600 by Samsung comes with a 200 MHz processor with 32 MB of memory and a 65K color TFT main display with external caller ID.

A secure digital (SD) slot allows business customers to add memory and content with SD and multimedia cards (sold separately).
