Yes at last, there’s gonna be some competition in the browser field for Windows Mobile phones. At present you have “PIE” – no, not cherry pie or apple pie – just plain PIE. PIE stands for Pocket Internet Explorer and it comes on every Windows Mobile phone as default.
PIE has improved a great deal, however there’s still a couple of points that need tweaking such as frames support and still a little more speed. Today Opera announce that they will be lauching the Opera web browser for Windows Mobile phones too, which means you’ll soon get a free web browser alternative here at Opera.com.
