The Register today picked up on the fact that the MPx220 has been pushed back slightly to a quarter 4 release. You can see our earlier story on this here.
Now – I’m guessing here – don’t think I’ve been fed any info. The MPx100 looks to be delayed too, and problems have been seen with the camera. There’s also the note about the change in camera description at The Register – I’m guessing therefore that either the camera is being swapped, a different manufacturer found, or something else needs fixing relating to the camera. This may therefore explain the slight set-back.
However, we should remember that it isn’t about getting things out first, it’s about getting them right! 🙂
