Now the mighty Asda are doing the dual-SIM device for just £99. Although we’d probably still go for the Moto G, it’s an OK price for a handset with a dual-core 1.3GHz CPU, 4GB storage, 5 megapixel camera with flash (plus a VGA front shooter), WiFi, GPS, micro SD and Android 4.2.2. However, be aware it’s only got 512MB RAM and that 5″ display is 480×854 pixels.

London, 28th February 2014 – Acer today announced that leading UK retailer Asda will be stocking the new Liquid Z5 smartphone. The compact 5-inch smartphone is the perfect marriage of affordability and functionality, making it a great addition to Asda’s mobile range.
Available now, the Liquid Z5 is designed for first time smartphone adopters or budget conscious users looking for a device for mobile browsing, photo and video clip taking anytime as well as mobile entertaining. The Liquid Z5 is thin and easy to carry with its 8.8 mm thin profile and rounded edge but still has a big widescreen that’s great for media consumption.

Asda customers will be able to explore the functionality of the Liquid Z5 thanks to an innovative use of holographic displays within the store. The displays offer an interactive experience far beyond what users would normally experience.
In an elegant glossy and silky finish design powered by Android 4.2.2, the Liquid Z5 gives users many features per square centimetre at just 145.5 x 73.5 x 8.8 mm and only 147 grams. It touts a dual-core 1.3 GHz processor, 4 GB of internal user storage, Wi-Fi, integrated GPS, and a 5-megapixel camera.
