There has been an update today to the BBC’s iPlayer radio app for Android which sees several enhancements.
The main feature to be added is support for widgets, now you can add your favourite station straight to your homescreen and scale the widget to the size that you require. You are also able to start and stop the stream directly from the widget.
Browsing of on-demand programmes has been made simpler and the rotation to landscape mode on 10″ tablets now works, Also optimisations have been made for Android 4.4 Kitkat.
