Google today announced 2.2 FroYo version of the mobile OS to the world with some pretty sweet updates in features. The 4 main updates are
- Speed, Now 2-3X faster than 2.1 in a lot of applications including browser
- Market Updates now can be auto-installed once authorised or you can ‘Update All’
- Applications can be installed to an SD card and moved between card and internal memory easily
- The phone can act as a MiFi hotspot sharing your data allowance with other WiFi Devices (yes even iPad!)

Update – HTC say that if you bought your HTC Android phone this year then it’ll “likely” get the Android 2.2 update.
