Google Maps gets friendly – see where your friends are

Google Maps gets friendly see where your friends are Most of you will have already downloaded the free Google Maps application and will be enjoying either the brilliant satellite imagery, driving directions, mapping, GPS usage or the innovative “My Location” system which uses the network transmitters to calculate your position. Now it’s got even better with the addition of something called “Google Latitude”. This feature is pretty cool, it’ll let you see where your friends are and you can share your location with them in return.

It’ll work on your phone or PC and, if you’re running a small haulage firm or delivery service this could be really useful. Check it out by browsing google.com/gmm on your phone or have a looksie at the video below which will explain everything really well.
