If you’re in the USA then there’s no doubt many of your friends and colleagues will be busy showing off their new iPhone. Here in Europe we’ve avoided most of the hype so far but there’s no doubt that queues will be forming outside Apple stores soon enough.
I’ll admit that there’s some things we can learn from the iPhone. The smooth, animated user interface is slick and easy to use, plus the multi-touch screen is something I’d like to see in Windows Mobile as soon as possible. Now, some may say the “immitation is the sincerest form of flattery”, but we’d rather look at WhoNeedsAniPhone.com as a way to show Apple that Windows Mobile handsets (touch screen ones at least) can look, function and perform just like an iPhone. Well, almost 🙂
The guys at WhoNeedsAniPhone.com are currently testing their Today theme / software / tweaks so you’ll need to mail them if you’re interested in taking part. Early snaps look very promising and we hope it’ll do well.
