Hmmm.. engadget have noticed something very interesting about the new Google Phone...
Now, let's just ignore for the moment these arguments about whether the Nexus One is a future HTC handset Google are testing or whether it's going to launch direct from Google. Attention has now turned to the boot animation, which has already popped up in ROM's on xda-developers.com. You can see the video below and, if you squint it does have the same colours and a similar structure to the Windows Mobile "wait" animation that we've seen on Windows Mobile 6.0 / 6.1 (here on the right) and the new icon below.
Now sure, I know what you're going to say here. Google have these colours in their infamous logo, so it would make sense, but you can't help thinking that somewhere there's a little chuckle coming from a Google office.
