When we saw the HTC Diamond we assumed that it was all the work of HTC design dudes, but in reality the guys at One & Co helped out with the design and engineering. HTC were obviously impressed with the results, and have announced the full acquisition of the company.
ONe & Co have previously worked with other companies, including Nike, Sony, Plantronics and Microsoft. HTC Chief Innovation Officer, Horace Luke, said of the buy-out..
“Design is key, it is why you love or hate something. Integrating iconic design into HTC products is an inspiring and dynamic challenge that requires a unique combination of consumer insight, creativity, innovation and an appetite to take risks; attributes that embody One & Co.”
Both companies will work together on future HTC products and One & Co will maintain its client base.
