I'll be honest here and say that I've never seen one of these in the flesh. It's an MP3 player from Microsoft called "Zune" and there's many who will obviously compare it to the iPod. Anyhoo, there's rumours flying around the net that this could merge into a new Windows Mobile phone. The cross-over device is codenamed "Pink" and Jim Goldman from CNBC.com is reporting on a possible launch in just a few months.
Although Jim is fairly confident on his sources there's a bit of guesswork here, but as usual we'll be keeping track of this story and any developments.
