Windows Mobile 6.5 confirmed by Steve Ballmer

When a Motorola CEO blew the lid on Windows Mobile 6.5 we didn't expect Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer to then confirm it's existance and go on to mention Windows Mobile 7 too. Pocketnow have picked up on this Telstra webcast where Steve responds to a question around 12 minutes into session 2 of the Q&A.

"With releases we'll make this year - releases we'll make with 6.5 next year, Windows Mobile 7, I think we have a pretty interesting roadmap."

Windows Mobile 6.5 is coming then - next year, but we'll have to wait a little longer to see what it contains.
