The Italian people are fantastic. They're responsible for pizza, pasta and some rather excellent cars. They also get scoops, with the first ever shots of the HTC Cavalier showing online here. Looking pretty much identical to the HTC Excalibur it's a world away from the Vauxhall bearing the same name (sorry, I just had to work that in for some reason). :)
Basically put, this is the 3G version of the T-Mobile Dash / o2 XDA Cosmo. There's hope that we'll see a release in the Spring and we're expecting to see it running a 400 MHz Samsung CPU with a 2 Megapixel camera and 320x240 screen. It'll have quad-band GPRS / EDGE connectivity with UMTS and HSDPA plus there's Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g on board. The Cavalier also comes with the same JOGGR control strip as featured on the Excalibur.
