Another day and another handset appears from ASUSTek. It's looking more and more like HTC are no longer the primary builders of Windows Mobile handsets. This is the O2 XDA Zinc, known also as the Asus Mars II... hmm.. look familiar at all ? Yup, it's very much like the current HTC handsets you'll see on any high street as the SPV M3100 or T-Mobile MDA Vario II.
The o2 XDA Zinc has just tri-band GSM and single-band (2100Mhz) 3G, so roaming may be tricky. The Pocket PC powered device however does have an Intel PXA270 520 Mhz CPU (faster than the similar-looking HTC device), 802.11b/g WiFi, QWERTY slide-out keyboard, Bluetooth V2.0 and a 2 megapixel camera.
You can catch more shots of this below or get bigger pictures here. The FCC also have a manual and further details.
