Earlier in the week, while I was busy writing the Virgin Lobster review, some new Windows Mobile "Crossbow" pictures appeared on the net. I've pasted them in below (click read more) - they show the next version of Windows Mobile, which isn't released yet, on a Pocket PC. As you can see there's a new glossy title bar and Vista-style tweaks.
Now I'm confused here. Whilst I'm fairly sure that there's some significant changes "under the hood", most people will be looking at these photos thinking it's just a new "skin" or theme. The average Joe in the street will merely see this as Windows Mobile 5.0 with a few new icons, that's it. End of story. Or am I wrong ? Post your comments below!
