The Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE is an ultra high-end smartphone with a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor. It has a huge 4.65 inch super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It has Gorilla Glass, multi-touch input, accelerometer, gyroscope sensor, digital compass and Samsung’s TouchWiz UI v4.0. There’s a 16GB memory on board, plus up to 32GB microSD card. Internal RAM (not for storage) is a massive 1GB. Being an LTE device it’s capable of very high speed downloads in areas where there is LTE support – although there is no LTE available in the UK yet. Other connectivity features include 3G, HSDPA 21Mbps, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, DLNA, NFC support, Bluetooth 3.0 plus GPRS and EDGE.

The Galaxy S II HD LTE comes with a superb 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and an LED flash. It has a 2 megapixel front camera for face-to-face chatting. It supports HD video at 1080p which delivers outstanding video quality that can be viewed on the 4.65 inch screen or on a TV via the TV-out connection. It also has a 3.5mm jack and loudspeaker and there’s a built-in FM radio and comprehensive media player and image/video editor.
