Following on from this earlier story, I've finally got my arse into gear and completely fixed the CoolSmartPhone.com XML News Feed. You may remember me saying, "I'll get that fixed in a bit", way back in 2002. Well, now it is - and I've sorted it so it'll only show the last 30 news items now instead of every news item ever over the past couple of years, which is a lot!
So, now's a good time to download this excellent free RSS reader for your Smartphone. An RSS (a type of XML) feed is basically a direct stream from a website of the latest content in a format which can be easily shared or integrated in another site. If you look at our feed it looks a bit complicated, but programs like the FUSD RSS Reader (read more about it here at MSMobiles.com) make it easy to keep up-to-date with all your favourite news without huge amounts of data being transferred across GPRS etc.
EDIT - Oh, and while I'm here, yes - we've added the LiveMessage Alerts thing too. All you need to do is click on the button, then plonk your MSN Messenger login details in.
