Virgin Mobile TV Handset to arrive next month

The handset we saw in February is now known as the "Lobster 700 TV" and has started to appear in catalogues. You may have heard it called the "BT Movio" or the "HTC Trilogy". This will fit nicely into the new range of Virgin Lobsters including the 485 and the recently announced 575. This works differently to existing "TV on your mobile" handsets and doesn't grab pictures from a 3G data stream. The Lobster 700 will receive it's pictures over DAB and, according to the Carphone Warehouse catalogue, it'll be available next month.
Now, I know what you're all thinking, "TV over Digital Radio? Has he gone nuts"? Well no. DAB is a bit like online radio in that it sends your favourite music via a data stream, so you can stuff a 128k audio stream down it or - with the help of the Lobster 700 TV Smartphone - a TV stream.
