Sick of being the only person in the pub who can't send and receive stuff over Bluetooth properly ? Well yes, we are too. Whilst you can download free software like SmartExplorer to help you out, there's also cool apps like Sniper which you can download here.
Sniper is a "Mobile Social Software" application which lets you send and receive file and reply to text messages from other Bluetooth enabled phones - including non Windows Mobile phones. The new version is faster and more robust than previous versions, letting you send and receive files up to the size of your storage card. There's also other improvements like progress bars, better handling of unresponsive targets and better graphics.

I went out last night round town when i got home I was noseying through my phone when I happened to remember I had had Sniper running all night with auto accept on...not only was my battery still running strong but I had pictures and videos of all sort of shinanigans not to mention a few sordid offers wish I had checked it sooner the thing I love is the ability to recieve items with out any user input from myself should i choose to set it up to do so....that and the ability to send One file to multiple users in just a few clicks or multiple files to one user with our having to load and search each time i want to send a file friday at work I sat in VNA truck and sent season one and season two of Angry Kid to the bloke in the next VNA He didnt have Sniper so he spent all night clicking yes > save ,yes > save, Yes > save but me i just set sniper up to send them all (40.7MB) while my phone lay quitetly in its holder as I worked away.
Now I 'm waiting for next weekend to find the hot babe in the blue dress who sent me her pic asking if i wanted to dance, shame i got it once I got home may be the makers can make a notifier for incoming for it that way when the hot babe in the blue dress gets home doesnt make me sleep on the couch for ignoring her in the club lol

Sure, a couple of major improvements are in Sniper that are NOT in the Built IN BlueTooth Features.
Firstly it enables Text Messaging Over BlueTooth, with an InBox, Adddress book and Message Templates. Works great in bars and clubs and public places.
Secondly, Sniper can send/recieve *really* big files straight to or from the storage card. Which the Built In Beam Receiver can't. I personally have sent 100MB movies from phone to phone. Sniper is the only app that can do this.
It also has some great BlueJacking capabilities. It can BlueJack (i.e. send to all devices in the vicinity) txt messages OR files. Great if you want to send Business cards to evryone in a meeting or just irritate everyone around you
Cheers

BlueJacking can be FUN!
As a purely hypothetical excercise, you understand... The following are examples of some of the messages that could be pre-programmed into Sniper and sent automatically to all BlueTooth phones in the vicinity that have BlueTooth receive switched on and set to accept (and there are a LOT of phones left in this state permanently!)
1. [insert any charity here]: The sum of: £5.00 will shortly be deducted from your call-credit. We are very grateful to you for your kind donation, Yours... [insert any charity here].
2. An Error Has Ocurred - Please Remove SIM Card And Restart Device... Thank You For Your Co-operation.
3. This is a courtesy message from your Mobile Service Provider - Your credit is £0.20p Please Top-Up your credit to avoid losing this service.
Obviously, I personally wouldn't dream of doing such a thing, in fact until I read the posts of a certain person (Who will of course remain nameless, so don't worry conan ), the thought had never ocurred to me!
So, as you see, if like me you're a non-gregarious, anti-social recluse who isn't interested in messaging TO people... There are still plenty of unsuspecting folks out there that you can message AT... but you'd better try to keep a straight face when you see the results!

Hi,
I actually use Sniper on my C550. When I thought it was onlocked it was really only partially unlocked. I managed to get it unlocked for free by following mini_mans instructions on this thread ...
