We've had a couple of interesting bits of news regarding upcoming handsets on Orange. First we're hearing that the HTC S740 should be turning up on the network towards the end of October. There's nothing on the coming soon pages just yet, but we'll keep an eye on this.
There's also rumours about the HTC Touch Pro. This is apparently in for testing on the network and some people are hearing that it'll be out next week! Again, we'll keep our ears to the ground just in case. If you know anything more, do let us know.

oh that could be very annoying - I've waited patiently for the touch pro to be released on t-mob so i can leave the lying bunch of @#$%^ at Orange behind.
If they get the touch pro out first, what do i do, what do i do? <waves hands and hops from foot to foot>

Well if it does come out on orange, they'll probably stich their poxy software on it!

Don't get Orange... their data plans suck... for a great data device like the Touch Pro, it HAS to be T-Mobile (usually the bloody slowest to get it in the UK, after having it in Germany for ages - racists!)

Orange only do a decent data plan on the BlackBerrys, according to the guy in the shop this is because you have to have data to use certain features on a blackberry, whereas Windows Mobile is just an ordinary phone.
I really makes me wonder why Orange get all these great devices, then don't give you a data plan to use them with. _________________ --
