HTC Touch Pro Pricing Available

devicewire have just revealed the RRP of the HTC Touch Pro, £468.07 ex VAT or £549.99 inc VAT. It's set to arrive on September 1st and, if you didn't know already, it'll add a QWERTY keyboard to the existing HTC Touch Diamond.

There's also a price-drop on the HP iPAQ 614C Business Navigator, which is now selling for £267.99 inc VAT.

Now, I don't want to start an arguement, but when you cosider the unconfirmed PAYG price for the 3G 16GB iPhone is £360 (which should be pretty easy to unlock given the firmware has been out on the internets for well over 3 months) then HTC may have a battle on their hands to try and shift these...

Even the diamond (let alone the pro) is over priced.

Only 4GB non expandable? Not for £400. They should have made it 8GB or added a micro sd slot, it can't have increased the size by all that much.

I think HTC have got their pricing strategy all wrong. I have saved up £250 and was going to buy a Vodafone version until I found out that the price was a mistake. There's no way I'm forking out £400 for it.

First time in my life I'm seriously considering the iphone 3g, particularly as it has ActiveSync and Imap etc. Although the lack of a back button and multi-tasking is probably enough to put me off.

Gives the diamon a bad rating saying it's too slow.

I seriously think HTC have missed a great opportunity here to wipe out Apple's dominance.

Reduce the prices HTC, FFS!
