HTC Touch Diamond ROM leaks out

I'm not sure how, but the guys at xda-developers.com have posted the official WM 6.1 WWE ROM and radio for the HTC Diamond shipping in Asia and Hong Kong.

Ah, there's a problem though, no-one has a HTC Touch Diamond at the moment. Hmmmm....if only someone had a phone to test this new ROM ... ;)

Don't you have to return the phone in a few days? Doubt HTC would be very happy if you reflash their phone

I shall take the pessimistic view that we have no video because Gears flashed the ROM and the device is now borked...

I'm a bit more optimistic. I think Gears has flashed the phone and is now trying to find all the improvements in the final software. And because there are so many it'll take a while Very Happy

I'm not so impressed with the Kasier one... if they manage to port TouchFLO 3D, I'd go for it. But not for just a few icons.

Since you lot seem to be happy about just getting the ROM, I've had the core running on my prophet for some time Very Happy

However, sorry to break the news, but unless HTC magic up the drivers for the Kaiser, and a bunch of nerds can crack manilla open, there is absolutely no chance of it running on any device other than the Diamond/Raphael as it NEEDs the 3D acceleration (hence "TouchFlo3D").
