Torrents. If you say it there's an instant raised eye-brow from most people. It's not ALWAYS an illegal activity, however most people know the BitTorrent protocol purely because of illegal file sharing and many ISP's throttle it. Now, just a few months after the Pirate Bay got sued, it's the turn of mininova.org. They've closed down all illegal torrents, so you can now only get legal ISO's like Linux Distros and the like.
To may this seems like the end of an era, and indeed it shows that even the most mighty "illegal torrent" site can be knocked over if it's pushed hard enough. Bye bye mininova...
