New owners of The Pirate Bay are going for a "compensation model" which "satisfies the requirements and needs of all parties, content providers, broadband operators, end users, and the judiciary. Content creators and providers need to control their content and get paid for it."

Sounds like they sold out for $7.7 million.. Either that or they're taking the money and putting it into a new venture, who knows. I've certainly never heard of "Global Gaming Factory" either.
There's various people on reddit.com claiming that they worked on The Pirate Bay and the new CEO of the company BUYING Pirate Bay "doesn't know what he's talking about". Confused? Well, I'm guessing if the CEO states that it'll be turned into a site which "satisfies the requirements and needs of all parties, content providers, broadband operators, end users, and the judiciary" he's probably telling the truth. It's his company.. so..
