Sky Mobile adds more data and a new 10GB plan

Sitting on top of the O2 network, Sky are pushing hard with their mobile deals. If you’re a TV customer then you do get a slightly better deal, but just now they’ve announced that new and existing customer will get new plans to choose from. Available from Friday, a 5GB and 10GB offering, priced at £15 per month and £20 per month respectively, will be launched.

These new plans replace the previous 3GB and 5GB plans, but at the same price. Those with Sky still get the ability to roll over unused data to next month and alter contract as and when they feel.

The new plan and prices are to be made available with the Swap24 and Swap12 plans, plus SIM only plans too. Director of Mobile at Sky, Liz Wynn, tells us..

We launched Sky Mobile to offer more flexibility and great value – and that’s exactly what we’re doing by introducing our new data plan. 10GB is ideal for people who want to use their phone to do it all – from streaming, browsing and watching to gaming. September is an important month for our customers who want to get their hands on the latest phones, and we’re excited to now give them even more choice and value.
